all right live welcome everybody to hump
00:03
day hangout this is episode 173 and it
00:06
is the 28th of February 2018 we’re gonna
00:10
get right into it today say hi to
00:12
everybody real quick and then we’ve got
00:14
some some great information then of
00:16
course we’re gonna jump into questions
00:17
so I’m just gonna go down how I see
00:19
people on the list but real quick I just
00:21
want to say a shout out anybody who’s in
00:22
Colorado please let us know I got my
00:25
Colorado hat on today got some family
00:27
out there and was thinking about it
00:28
today so let me know type in a comment
00:30
let me know where you’re at but Kris how
00:32
you doing ma’am ding good glad to be
00:34
here good day her nan how about yourself
00:38
ma’am I’m good man I’m pump and pump
00:40
actually I just had a really good
00:42
conversation with one of the muscle man
00:44
members he has been amassing my member
00:45
for a while but he decided to finally
00:47
take the B on boarding call honey what’s
00:50
up yeah it was a lot of good stuff I
00:52
mean he had this info product and he’s
00:55
sick he went to make a podcast so I kind
00:57
of advised him on how to get the more
00:59
leverage out of his stuff and he was
01:01
really really happy we went through the
01:03
whole overarching theme for the funnel
01:05
and whatnot so he was really good so if
01:07
you guys are on the fence about joining
01:09
the mastermind that’s one of the parts
01:10
that you get you get to talk to us you
01:12
know for a full 30 minutes you get to
01:14
talk to us a lot more but that’s like
01:16
the important call and you can get to us
01:18
questions and we kind of put you on the
01:20
right track so you can focus and grow
01:22
your business so we have and it’s um it
01:25
gives us an opportunity to get to know
01:27
you know a new incoming mastermind
01:29
member a bit for many months and years
01:32
actually we had new members come in and
01:34
we would just converse or chat with them
01:35
in in the group itself like via text and
01:38
now this is a lot we get to know our
01:40
members a lot better and I’m much more
01:42
of like personal level and it it just it
01:44
helps to create goodwill and it gives us
01:46
a better understanding of people’s
01:48
businesses so we can help in those areas
01:51
if that makes sense yeah good stuff
01:55
gotta unmute myself good deal all right
01:58
Marco how about yourself I do a man
02:00
working on PO foo always we’re gonna
02:04
start linking that occasionally and have
02:06
to hang out to me oh no we might keep
02:07
that for the master right no it’s
02:11
already on there awesome I didn’t check
02:13
my bad
02:13
now Bradley how’re you doing man hi guys
02:17
happy to be here we got lots of
02:19
questions already so we don’t have a lot
02:21
of time to chitchat that’s up so I want
02:23
to say real quick before we get into it
02:24
that I wanted you to share real quick
02:27
about local PR Pro and kind of where
02:29
that came from because I’ve been telling
02:31
people I’ve been sending out some emails
02:32
and we’ve been putting on our social
02:34
media today is the last day that people
02:35
can get in because we start the training
02:38
tomorrow so they came not the last day
02:40
they can absolutely get in but the last
02:42
day that they can get 50% off so I’ll
02:44
put that information on the page but I
02:45
just wanted people who are watching to
02:47
be aware if you joined before we start
02:48
the training you can get 50% off but
02:51
then tomorrow it’s going up once with
02:54
training started so if you want to kind
02:56
of fill people in some more on that
02:58
stuff sure so local PR Pro those of you
03:02
that have already joined in just a
03:03
moment I’ll switch screens guys right
03:05
before we jump into questions and I’ll
03:07
show you
03:07
I’ve already started adding some content
03:09
the the written content because this is
03:11
basically pre sale you know I developed
03:15
some working procedures and take I’ve
03:17
taken a lot of notes and stuff over the
03:18
last several months and so is the
03:21
co-creator of Arguelles reloaded with
03:22
marco rob he did a lot of testing with
03:25
me too and and he provided his notes
03:27
which were fabulous and so there’s a lot
03:30
of written content that will be I
03:32
started uploading it already I’ve still
03:34
got some more to add which I’ll have
03:35
done tomorrow before the webinar and
03:37
then tomorrow we start recording the
03:38
actual training via webinar and this was
03:41
the first time we’re doing a training
03:43
program in this format Ben Atkins does
03:45
it all the time and I think it’s it’s I
03:47
think it’s genius and also it’s just
03:50
this way we get to handle questions and
03:52
everything right up front instead of me
03:54
trying to jam everything into what I
03:55
think you guys are gonna need if that
03:57
makes sense so we’re gonna do the first
03:58
webinar tomorrow the opportunity for
04:01
this course where does the opera’s
04:03
opportunity lie well with the local PR
04:06
Pro what I’ve been doing for months is
04:08
ranking sites even one-page WordPress
04:12
sites they could be HTML it doesn’t
04:14
matter what they are but single one-page
04:15
sites I’ve been getting ranked in the 3
04:17
pack using press releases alone now
04:20
press release is combined with the other
04:22
stuff that we do like syndication
04:24
Academy Drive Stack you know blogging
04:26
through
04:26
through the syndication network or multiple syndication networks all of
04:28
that stuff citation building all that
04:29
stuff will help and will help you to get
04:31
much faster results but I’ve proven time
04:34
and time again about 90 percent success
04:36
rate that I’ve been able to get into the
04:38
three pack using nothing but press
04:40
releases alone I mean and that’s no BS
04:43
just press releases and so over the many
04:47
months that I’ve been testing this
04:48
across at least 15 different projects
04:51
again about a 90 percent success rate
04:54
I’ve been able to accomplish it every
04:56
single time
04:56
overnight 90 percent of the time get
04:58
into the 3 pack and there’s some
05:00
interesting stuff that occurs after
05:02
about 90 days or so I’m not gonna get
05:04
into that here it’s gonna be covered in
05:05
the training but it’s it’s all really
05:07
valid data and that’s why I didn’t it
05:09
took me so long to launch this course
05:11
was because I wanted to see long-term
05:13
what the effect was gonna be and there’s
05:15
some anomalies are some things that you
05:17
have to do to keep the rankings but
05:19
again it’s it’s all stuff that we’re
05:21
gonna cover so the the benefit of the
05:25
the course itself is the fact that you
05:27
can get first page rankings if you’re
05:29
doing local and even with just a single
05:31
on page one page site which is amazing
05:34
because think about how much work we put
05:35
in the on-page stuff and building silos
05:38
and all that and by the way don’t not do
05:40
that stuff continue doing all that stuff
05:42
guys if the better your on page the
05:44
better your site structure the quicker
05:47
or the better results you’re gonna have
05:48
from less off page work so what I’m
05:51
getting at is if you have a site that’s
05:53
built really well optimized well it’s
05:56
got proper structure all of that and you
05:58
hit it with just a couple press releases
06:00
you’re likely to be able to rank in the
06:02
3 pack for that so I wanted to see how
06:04
powerful press releases alone could be
06:07
for ranking and that’s why I tested with
06:09
various one page websites was just as I
06:11
didn’t ranked Google Sites in the maps 3
06:14
pack guys using just press releases so I
06:16
didn’t even have to build like create a
06:18
you know my own domain or anything so it
06:21
works really really well so you get
06:23
first page rankings rather quickly
06:24
some projects guys depending on level of
06:26
competition I’ve been able to get in a
06:28
three pack with as little as two press
06:30
releases no s— I mean brand new Google
06:33
my business listing guys like stuff that
06:35
has been verified under 30 days and I’ve
06:40
been
06:40
in a 3-pack and with two press releases
06:42
results are not typical I’m not saying
06:44
you all are going to get those results
06:45
but for more competitive stuff usually
06:49
within five or six press releases I’m
06:51
able to get into the 3-pack so it’s a
06:53
range between two and six typically to
06:56
get results so if you know the the
06:59
traffic the rankings from the press
07:01
releases or what I was going for
07:02
initially but there’s a lot of side
07:04
benefits that come from it like example
07:07
more traffic it’s an easy sell to
07:10
clients because they see the you know
07:13
the benefit and that the branding
07:15
potential from these these press
07:17
releases as well plus they get to use
07:19
you all know if you go to LinkedIn you
07:21
see this and anybody that’s using this I
07:23
don’t want to offend you so please don’t
07:25
take offense but that uses those like as
07:27
seen on Fox and NBC thing on their
07:29
profile picture which I think is dumb
07:31
but a lot of people like that a lot of
07:33
people like to use that as an authority
07:35
builder and in business owners local but
07:37
like we I probably think it’s dumb
07:39
because I’m sick of seeing it I’ve been
07:40
in this industry for so long
07:42
but you know a lot of business owners
07:44
local business owners they see that as
07:46
like a like a status symbol type thing
07:48
and so that’s you know that’s something
07:50
they could actually do if they’re
07:52
published press releases get published
07:54
on things like Fox and ABC and NBC and
07:56
they do through the syndication partners
07:58
the distribution partners so it’s it’s
08:01
easy results for clients that they can
08:02
see is high perceived value it is a very
08:05
valuable service something that you can
08:06
do and one of the things that and I know
08:09
I’m going long on this but it’s it’s
08:12
it’s a really good course and I really
08:13
encourage you all to try it or to take
08:15
it people typically stay away from press
08:18
releases because they don’t know how to
08:20
write them I recommend in the course
08:21
don’t freaking write don’t do it
08:23
most of the press release distribution
08:24
services have writing services now where
08:27
you can just give them some bullet
08:29
points like who what when where why and
08:30
how and maybe a quote to use and then
08:33
though write the press release for you
08:34
which is what I suggest I don’t write my
08:36
press releases anymore I used to have a
08:37
writer that would write them but that
08:39
was an addict
08:40
it like you know she would write them
08:42
and then I would submit them to the
08:43
press release distribution and they
08:44
would have it would have to go through
08:45
their editorial approval and it was just
08:48
a it would be longer it would take
08:49
longer and more steps in between the
08:52
order and the publishing of it
08:54
I stopped using us my own press release
08:57
writer and just started using whatever
08:58
press release writers are part of the
09:01
distribution service I’m using and I use
09:02
multiple distribution services guys it’s
09:04
not just what we have inside a service
09:06
base
09:06
I’ve been real transparent about that
09:08
people say it’s expensive it’s not
09:10
really considering the results you get
09:12
let me think about it guys you’re either
09:13
investing time or money or both in
09:15
getting results for yourself or for your
09:17
clients and so if you can just pay for
09:21
press releases that are written by the
09:23
distribution service and have them do
09:25
all the work and all you got to do is
09:27
submit a few details and then is it
09:29
really too expensive no because you’ve
09:31
saved all your you’ve saved all that
09:33
time and all the other money that you
09:35
would have spent in you know building
09:37
all the other stuff I’m not saying don’t
09:39
do that other stuff I’m just saying it’s
09:41
a very effective and quick results type
09:43
thing that you can do again people say
09:47
they don’t know how to get results well
09:48
we’re gonna in a local PR course local
09:51
PR pro course there’s gonna be multiple
09:52
methods there on how to get results I’ve
09:54
tested what I call a PR stacking method
09:56
I tested that extensively I’ve got
09:58
several different stack variations that
10:00
I’m gonna cover Rob he did a lot of like
10:03
just he’s an unapologetic spammer he’s
10:06
like Marcos long-lost brother from
10:08
another mother or whatever and he just
10:10
he just hits the like the the primary
10:13
website the money site plus some of the
10:16
other Tijuana properties over and over
10:17
and over again with press releases and
10:18
he got similar results
10:20
so there’s variations to be able to get
10:22
results guys it’s not like a it’s not
10:24
like a cookie cutter thing that you
10:26
repeat that’s gonna become saturated so
10:28
does that make sense there’s so many
10:30
possibilities with the configurations on
10:32
how you stack PRS or how you use them
10:34
that really I don’t think it’s gonna be
10:36
anything that’s going to become
10:37
oversaturated anytime soon so I just
10:40
want to reiterate it’s it’s it’s a
10:42
course that I’ve been working on this
10:44
method I’ve been working on since I
10:45
think about June of 2017 so we’re
10:48
looking at like you know eight or nine
10:49
months and it’s been incredibly
10:51
effective now it’s just standard
10:52
operating procedure for every project
10:54
that I work on so I would highly
10:56
recommend that you guys check it out if
10:57
you’re doing any sort of local this is
10:59
strictly for local stuff guys you can
11:01
use PRS for affiliate and all that other
11:02
kind of stuff but this course is
11:04
designed specifically for rank
11:07
local properties so check it out we
11:10
start training tomorrow so your last
11:12
opportunity to get at this price awesome
11:15
cool what thanks for appreciate filling
11:17
in I know it’s a good for people to hear
11:19
some of this too because I’ve heard some
11:20
of those questions I personally I’m not
11:22
as experienced with using press releases
11:24
so like this is some cool stuff that I’m
11:26
gonna be personally going through like
11:27
this is just some good stuff to know for
11:29
me and then you know that’s a reason
11:31
that I stayed away was you know I always
11:33
thought yeah these are gotta be just a
11:34
pain in them but you know there’s got to
11:36
be a reason that I haven’t been using
11:38
those but anyways well getting too far
11:41
into that you anymore from you guys
11:42
anything else we need to cover should we
11:44
give it into it let’s do it let’s do
11:47
this man all right all right so I’m just
11:50
gonna show the inside of the dashboard
11:52
real quick guys just to show you like
11:54
two of the lessons so this is one of
11:56
them here this is lesson one and you can
11:59
see I mean it’s a lot of content guys
12:01
and I’ve went through this so you know
12:03
it’s written out there’s a lot of step
12:05
by step in there basic working
12:06
procedures stuff these are like how I
12:07
write up my working procedures guys when
12:09
I’m writing to train VA s how to do
12:12
stuff so it’s it’s laid out in a very
12:14
logical fashion and then obviously the
12:16
video portion is going to be coming I’ve
12:18
got a couple more stuff things to add
12:19
for tomorrow before the webinar starts
12:21
but other than that it’s ready to go and
12:23
we’re gonna spend you know at least 90
12:25
minutes probably closer to two hours on
12:27
the webinar so those of you that do join
12:29
if you have questions make sure you
12:30
attend because I want to try to answer
12:32
everything that we can through the
12:35
through the webinar and in it’s likely
12:37
that we’re gonna end up having a
12:38
follow-up webinar to a second one at
12:40
some point okay okay so let’s get right
12:44
in Mohamed’s first as usual it’s up
12:46
Mohammed you got in here right away so
12:48
he says hey guys what’s the best way to
12:50
let a prospect know that I’m talking to
12:51
multiple people and I’m only choosing
12:52
one do I just put it bluntly you either
12:56
except this price so I’ll go to
12:57
competitor here’s what happened I might
12:59
be able to sell one guy on Thursday
13:01
after a few weeks of Correspondence but
13:02
the day after I’m talking to his
13:04
competitor and I want to see what comes
13:06
of that in the event that the Thursday
13:08
guy agrees how can I tell him I’m also
13:10
waiting for the Friday guy the Friday
13:13
seems like the better client but the
13:14
Thursday guys a later state is at a
13:16
later stage of the selling process and I
13:19
want the Thursday got to get offended if
13:20
I
13:21
I have to wait till the other guy makes
13:22
his offer can I have my cake and eat it
13:24
too um yeah that’s kind of that’s kind
13:27
of tricky I mean as far as telling
13:30
people that you’re speaking with it this
13:32
offers been made to other to their
13:33
competitors or to other people in that
13:35
you know their area and they’re in that
13:37
same industry I have no problem with
13:38
doing that in fact you know I work with
13:40
contractors mostly and that they respond
13:43
well to that so I make it a point to
13:46
point that out usually okay so but as
13:50
far as what you’re talking about like
13:51
with you you’ve got let’s see if you see
13:57
on Thursday one guy on Thursday I might
13:59
be able to sell the one guy on Thursday
14:00
you know I would make the proposal and
14:03
uh and then you know if he makes a
14:05
decision right there on the spot I don’t
14:08
know what to tell you about that other
14:09
than you’d have to be honest with them I
14:12
mean if you really want to wait until
14:14
Friday I’m not sure that I would do that
14:16
you know I might make the proposal to
14:19
him on Friday or excuse me on Thursday
14:20
prevent the present the proposal to him
14:23
and then see if he makes a decision on a
14:26
spot I wouldn’t push for a decision on
14:28
the spot if I wanted to also make the
14:31
proposal on Friday to the other person
14:34
you know so I wouldn’t push for a closed
14:37
on Thursday I might present the proposal
14:39
but not push for a closed however if he
14:41
decides to accept your offer on Thursday
14:44
then you can’t you in my opinion you
14:46
have to be honest at that point if you
14:48
want to at least make the proposal on
14:51
Friday and choose the better of the two
14:52
now you you run the risk of pissing him
14:55
off don’t get me wrong but in my opinion
14:57
honesty is always the best policy in
14:59
this kind of stuff unless you are just
15:02
willing to accept if he if he accepts
15:04
your proposal on Thursday just accept
15:06
that as you know done fine you know the
15:08
final consequence that’s really up to
15:10
you I’d love to hear what my my
15:13
partner’s have to say about it but
15:14
personally with me I would make the
15:16
proposal on Thursday chances are he’s
15:18
not I mean at least in my experience a
15:20
lot of the times when I make a proposal
15:22
it takes the person that I’ve pitched it
15:24
to you know at least 24 hours to make a
15:27
decision and typically at that point
15:29
I’ll put on it you know like hey this
15:31
offer is only good for the next 72 hours
15:32
and that’s typically when I will pre
15:35
or make a comment about that same offer
15:38
being presented to others does that make
15:41
sense so usually when I present a
15:42
proposal I will tell somebody at the end
15:45
of it that like hey listen this this
15:46
offer is good for the next 72 hours of
15:48
the next three business days or whatever
15:50
it may be five days whatever whatever
15:52
you’re comfortable with but then I say
15:54
but keep in mind I’ve also made most
15:56
I’ve also made this same proposal or
15:58
presented the same proposal too and I’ll
16:00
list the competitors that I even offered
16:02
it to some times because then they then
16:04
it’s real to them because they recognize
16:06
the competitors names and in and usually
16:09
that will that’s if I want to get them
16:12
to decide make a decision rather quickly
16:14
um you know I’ll push that but in your
16:16
case I might not do that I might just
16:18
say look here’s the proposal take a day
16:21
to think about it and get back with me
16:22
tomorrow afternoon by 5:00 p.m. or
16:24
something like that and now that might
16:26
buy you some time but if he says right
16:27
off the bat yeah you know like let’s go
16:29
for it then you either have to be honest
16:31
about like alright well I’m gonna hold
16:33
off on signing you until after tomorrow
16:36
or you just accept that and then cancel
16:39
on the other guy the following day
16:41
that’s my opinion what do you guys think
16:42
I see a problem with him problem
16:45
possibly losing both details he tells
16:48
the third thing and I he tells the
16:50
Thursday guy okay look think it over
16:53
get back to me first by Thursday
16:55
afternoon before close of business and
16:58
and we’ll go from there so he can talk
17:00
to the Friday guy now the Friday guy
17:02
says no and then the Thursday guy gets
17:05
24 hours to think about it and decides
17:08
no well he just lost – yeah well he
17:12
probably would have lost the Thursday
17:13
guy anyway at that point though you know
17:15
yeah but what about I’m saying this if
17:16
the Thursday guy is right is ready to
17:18
close on Thursday and he’s hoping it was
17:21
a Friday guy but what do they say a bird
17:24
in the hand is worth two in the bush
17:26
bush yeah yeah I agree with Mark on this
17:29
case I would I was I would close the
17:32
deal as soon as possible because that
17:35
way you’re you’re securing a potential
17:37
you’re securing a client you know even
17:39
if you’re charging a little bit less
17:41
that’s what I would do personally and
17:43
you know if you’re really interested in
17:45
moving ahead with these guys I would say
17:47
I would be honest and say
17:49
I only take one so if you want to grab
17:51
it you know if you want to grab this
17:53
deal you need to do it now because
17:55
otherwise I’m talking with some other
17:57
prospects and this is like buying a new
17:59
scarf right like first-come first-serve
18:01
it is what it is like you you might like
18:03
it you might say Devender hey you know
18:04
save it for me but the guy that comes
18:06
with the money he’s the guy that takes
18:07
it so it’s an opportunity cost and it
18:11
just to give this a little bit more
18:13
different just so people know Muhammad
18:15
is new and he’s trying to close client
18:18
if if money is not an issue you can wait
18:22
them out then by all means you go for
18:25
for for whoever’s gonna pay the most
18:28
money but I mean if you just look if you
18:30
looked at if you look into close clients
18:32
grow your business then go where if the
18:36
Thursday thing is sure there’s no no no
18:40
sense in letting go of a short thing for
18:43
the for a Friday guy that might or might
18:45
not happen right it just admit it just
18:49
doesn’t make sense at this point in your
18:50
career later on when you take whoever
18:55
you feel like taking because either you
18:58
like the guy you get a good report the
19:00
money’s great whatever it is that’s
19:02
different at this point in your career
19:05
think things you know they’re a little
19:07
bit different yeah I mean that was what
19:10
I was what I was getting at if you make
19:12
the proposal on Thursday and you don’t
19:14
push for a decision at that moment if he
19:16
decides and says that he you know he
19:18
wants to proceed after you’ve made the
19:21
proposal then then like I said that’s
19:23
gonna be your call I agree with both
19:25
Hernan and Marco that if if he if he
19:28
accepts your proposal at that point then
19:31
you need to make the decision and and in
19:33
my my opinion Mohamed especially cuz
19:36
unless you’ve got like some gut feeling
19:38
about the guy that doesn’t sit well with
19:40
you in which case all of what we just
19:42
said is in my opinion is like you know
19:45
shoot for the guy on Friday instead
19:47
because I know to follow I know to trust
19:49
my gut just so you know I’ve learned
19:51
that over the years if you know I’ve
19:53
chased dollars from clients before just
19:55
even though I had a funny feeling that
19:58
they were gonna be a pain in the butt to
19:59
work with but I needed the money so I
20:01
would
20:02
go ahead and proceed with the project
20:04
anyways and then it always has bit me in
20:06
the butt like I’ve always ended up
20:08
regretting those those when I’ve ever
20:10
whenever I’ve ignored that gut feeling
20:12
and just chased the money I’ve always
20:15
regretted it and it’s always ended up
20:16
being a pain in the butt and not worth
20:18
the trouble or the or the the money that
20:20
you know that came with it so again if
20:23
it’s one of those things and that’s and
20:25
that’s kind of what I was getting from
20:27
your your question because you said I
20:28
feel like the guy on Friday is gonna be
20:30
the better client so if you’ve got a
20:31
funny gut feeling about the dude on
20:33
Thursday then you may want to try to
20:35
push him off a bit but again it’s all
20:37
about what do you need in your business
20:39
at this moment like what’s the most
20:41
important you know what’s your priority
20:44
if your priority is to get revenue in
20:46
the door and the guy accepts on Thursday
20:47
then I take the proposal you know
20:49
what I mean so it’s a great question
20:51
again it’s it is a tricky situation that
20:54
you’re gonna put yourself in I like the
20:56
fact that Marko just mentioned you know
20:58
once you were a little bit more further
21:00
along with your business you can be more
21:02
selective right you can you can wait it
21:04
out on on these types of things which is
21:06
why we’ve been telling you guys make
21:08
sure you keep your pipeline you full of
21:10
prospects because that way you can be
21:12
selective like that right but you’re
21:14
first getting your business off the
21:15
ground guys if you need revenue in the
21:17
door sometimes you gotta just you know
21:19
just do it so yeah yeah we all went
21:23
through this Mohamed so I love the I
21:25
love your hustle and I really do I
21:26
respect that because you’re you’re
21:28
definitely the right path so we’ve been
21:30
all through this we have to take bad
21:33
clients or not cheap lines but low
21:35
paying clients initially until we are in
21:37
a position that you can afford to wait a
21:40
little bit and the gut feeling thing oh
21:42
man that’s that’s that’s something that
21:45
I don’t pay a lot of attention to and I
21:47
should have had a client that cost me
21:49
around fifteen grand because I didn’t
21:52
pay attention to that gut feeling that
21:53
the guy was going to be offended yes
21:55
anyways yeah so pay attention to that –
21:59
yeah every time I’ve ignored that that
22:01
gut feeling man it’s it’s always cost me
22:04
time and money and and just provided a
22:06
lot of headache you know so by the way
22:09
guys just so you know well mom and
22:12
you’re in the mastermind so you’re going
22:13
to see it anyways but I started
22:16
really prospecting again hard for
22:18
contractor media or contractor agency
22:20
and this week
22:21
and I’ve got a whole bunch of new kinds
22:24
of prospecting campaigns that I’m
22:26
developing this week and we start really
22:28
hard next week you guys in the
22:30
mastermind are gonna get to witness
22:32
every bit of it and I’m gonna be testing
22:33
multiple prospecting methods both the
22:36
mass emailing which I have been doing
22:38
for the last couple of months our sales
22:40
process sucked though and also video
22:43
lead gen system so more the targeted
22:46
prospecting approach I’m going to be
22:47
doing several types of tests of those
22:50
over the next couple of weeks to I’ve
22:52
got various campaigns that I planned out
22:54
this week and I’m actually setting
22:56
everything up the infrastructure for
22:57
that now and we’re gonna be hitting it
22:59
hard next week so you guys in the
23:01
mastermind will get to see all that
23:02
those of you that aren’t in the
23:03
mastermind now would be a really good
23:05
time to join so anyways number two when
23:08
I phoned someone who opened my email but
23:10
never clicked I tell them to watch it
23:13
they say yes but they also ask what I
23:15
want or what my goal is I say I want
23:18
them to watch the video but they know I
23:19
want more than that what’s the best way
23:21
to answer this will tell them that
23:22
you’ve got some things that you found
23:25
about you know I’m not sure what it is
23:26
that you’re selling exactly Muhammad but
23:29
what I would just do is tell them like
23:31
if that you’ve got you’ve pointed some
23:34
things out you’ve you’re providing some
23:36
suggestions on how to improve their
23:37
their digital presence or whatever
23:39
they’re there their presence online or
23:41
their branding or whatever it is that
23:43
you’re selling I would just say look
23:45
it’s too hard to explain over the phone
23:46
I would rather you just watch the video
23:49
I took the time to record a video for
23:50
you it’s short you know it’s under 10
23:52
minutes but it will explain and we’ll
23:54
show you what visual aids what I’m
23:55
talking about and how you can improve
23:57
your marketing that’s what I want you to
23:59
do just all I’m asking you to do is
24:01
watch the video about your marketing or
24:04
about your digital presence and then if
24:06
it’s worth a conversation if you feel
24:08
like discussing it a little bit more
24:09
then contact me back after you’ve had a
24:11
chance to watch it so that you’re not
24:13
being pushy at all you’re being vague
24:15
enough to tell them to go watch the
24:17
video because you can’t really explain
24:19
it over the phone without visual aids
24:20
anyways that’s a true statement right so
24:23
again it’s about being honest and so
24:25
just say look I’ve made some suggestions
24:27
and some things that I pointed out that
24:29
can help your
24:30
presents right now or and and I and you
24:33
know I took the time to record this
24:34
video give him a guilt trip you know I
24:36
took the time to record this video for
24:38
you I’m not asking you for any money I’m
24:40
just asking you for to take check out
24:41
the video and then reply to me if you’d
24:43
like to have a conversation about it
24:44
that’s how I handle that kind of stuff
24:47
again I’m curious as to what the other
24:48
guys do yeah I totally agree with being
24:51
honest like you’re actually providing
24:53
value you know because you’re actually
24:56
taking the time of going through the
24:58
website you know the SEO if they have
25:01
reputation uses whatever you’re doing
25:02
you’re actually providing a lot of value
25:05
for free so it’s basically saying hey
25:06
you know I just recorded this free video
25:08
telling you what I would do in your case
25:10
to get more clients you’re now just
25:12
bring it like that be completely honest
25:14
and chill like Riley was saying she’s
25:17
super chill is just you know nothing to
25:19
sell at that point because the reality
25:21
is that you’re not selling your leading
25:23
about you know right you’re building
25:25
rapport and that’s what you know that’s
25:28
the whole point you know you know it’s
25:30
it’s important to explain that because
25:34
you know in the video Legion system
25:35
Muhammad I state very clearly that you
25:38
should be providing value in that
25:40
outreach video you know that that’s the
25:42
point of the video because you’re
25:43
setting yourself apart and I know you do
25:45
Muhammad this is for everybody else’s
25:47
benefit but what I’m saying is is those
25:49
those types of targeted emails video
25:52
emails are supposed to separate you from
25:55
all the all the stuff that they get on a
25:57
regular basis in their inbox right all
25:59
the crappy marketing solicitation
26:02
messages that they get from contractors
26:05
in India and things like that you know
26:06
what I mean and no offense to anybody in
26:08
India but you guys get what I’m what I’m
26:10
saying like this is what separates you
26:12
from all the other spam solicitation is
26:14
the fact that you taken the time to
26:16
analyze their property and provide them
26:18
real value even if it’s just something
26:21
small right and get them thinking and
26:24
that’s what is that the whole video
26:25
Legion system is about is about building
26:27
rapport and that’s what this does and by
26:30
the way one other thing I just mentioned
26:32
all this prospecting stuff that I’m
26:33
going to be doing so everything that I’m
26:35
gonna be doing over the next few weeks
26:36
that has to do with like the video
26:39
emails and and I got this really awesome
26:41
video email app right
26:44
now that I just got access to on Friday
26:46
last week that I can’t talk about what
26:48
it is just yet but it is freaking
26:50
fabulous I’m blown away by how cool this
26:53
app is and that’s why I’m I started
26:55
setting up all these campaigns this week
26:57
for doing the video email system instead
27:00
of just the mass email stuff because
27:01
this this video email system is
27:03
incredibly powerful so anyways I’m gonna
27:06
be testing all that stuff and my data
27:08
and my results are going to also be
27:10
added to the video lead gen system
27:12
training so the mastermind members will
27:14
get it in the video lead gems system
27:16
members will get that as well so if you
27:18
can’t join the mastermind you might want
27:19
to pick up the video lead gen system
27:20
those of you that are prospecting
27:22
because all this stuff is gonna be
27:23
shared in there in the upcoming weeks
27:24
and I really expect to have some good
27:27
results from this this new app who’s
27:29
gonna make it awesome it’s not just the
27:30
tool though guys you got to have a good
27:32
a good approach and that’s why I’m gonna
27:33
be trying several different approaches
27:36
this week or over the next couple weeks
27:37
excuse me so that uh you know we can
27:40
find one that really works or find a
27:42
couple of them and start tweaking them
27:43
alright so again another good reason by
27:46
the way if you join the mastermind you
27:47
get video leads in the system included
27:49
for free so there you go
27:51
Wayne says hi guys I have a prospect
27:53
that manages various Hotel restaurants
27:55
and bars throughout a major city all of
27:58
their properties under management are
27:59
listed on their website and in various
28:01
blog posts how would you go about
28:02
ranking different properties under one
28:04
management domain
28:07
I’m not sure what you mean by that
28:10
each I’m sorry Wayne uh I’m not really
28:13
fully understanding even if you had like
28:18
a property management group I can’t
28:20
imagine each one of the separate hotel
28:22
restaurants and bars not having their
28:24
own separate website if they and that
28:26
may be the case it seems odd to me but
28:28
if that’s the case then they should at
28:30
least have their own unique landing
28:32
pages right with on the management
28:35
domain right they should each have their
28:37
own dedicated page on the domain in
28:38
which case that would be their company
28:41
page or their landing page right and
28:43
then so in that case you can just
28:44
promote that as if it were a standalone
28:46
site or page without oh sorry you might
28:51
want to dig a little deeper to when and
28:52
see if they do have their own even if
28:55
it’s a one
28:56
type of site like maybe they haven’t
28:58
shared it with you I might do a little
28:59
digging on this yeah yeah because what I
29:03
mean again usually there would they
29:05
should still I mean I I’m sure there’s
29:09
circumstances that I haven’t seen right
29:11
and this may be one of them but
29:13
typically even if they’re on like a
29:15
somebody you know a property management
29:18
or whatever web site then they should
29:21
probably have their own landing page or
29:23
dedicated page for each one of those
29:26
bars and restaurants or whatever I would
29:28
I would suspect that they would and then
29:30
you can just use that as like the money
29:32
site URL for each one of those
29:34
businesses for example if you’re going
29:35
to be building citations you could
29:37
actually use that landing that that URL
29:40
that specific URL to that landing page
29:42
for that business as the money site URL
29:44
with its phone number and the address
29:46
and all that that should all be unique
29:48
right because think about it like guys
29:50
you can have multiple locations physical
29:54
locations all on one domain right each
29:58
domain like for example you know we
30:00
talked about using subdomains all the
30:01
time creating subs like I always like to
30:03
name the subdomain after the city and
30:04
doing it that way if I’m creating a
30:06
multi location business however you can
30:09
do it with landing pages so it can be an
30:11
inner page it would just be a dedicated
30:13
page for each location and in your
30:14
Google my business dashboard when you
30:16
add your URL for that location you make
30:18
sure that you copy that specific
30:20
location page URL so it wouldn’t be the
30:22
root domain it would be that that inner
30:24
page as the actual money site URL for
30:27
that location that’s perfectly fine
30:29
Google accepts that there’s no problem
30:31
with that so that’s one way that you
30:33
could do it and you know if they don’t
30:35
have their own dedicated pages that’s or
30:37
in their own excuse me their own
30:39
dedicated websites and they don’t have
30:42
their own dedicated pages on the
30:43
management domain I would approach the
30:45
management company and ask that that
30:46
gets done in other words that they each
30:49
get their own dedicated page so that you
30:50
can use it as I just mentioned okay
30:54
that’s kind of an interesting question
30:56
if you could clarify that a little bit
30:58
further and we might be on helped a
30:59
little bit more
30:59
Gordon says hey guys I have three quick
31:02
and related questions I need your help
31:03
okay is it better to use an expiry
31:05
jamayne with these metrics for a locally
31:07
gen site
31:08
get its built-in SEO juice or to use a
31:10
brand new geographical or business niche
31:12
targeted domain with the aged expired
31:14
domain 301 redirected to the new domain
31:16
that’s your call Gordon personally I
31:18
would prefer to use a new domain and do
31:22
a 301 redirect from it only if it was
31:25
topically relevant though what I even
31:26
bother with that anymore I don’t buy
31:29
domains anymore guys to redirect for for
31:32
metric purposes I just don’t do it
31:33
anymore it has to be about relevancy if
31:36
it’s not relevant I just don’t do it
31:37
period end a story and I know there’s
31:39
other people out there that will argue
31:41
that with me that’s fine do what you do
31:43
I’m gonna do what I do and what I do is
31:45
always about relevancy because that is
31:47
the way the algorithm has shifted and
31:49
it’s gonna continue to shift in that
31:50
direction guys it’s not about metrics
31:52
it’s about relevancy Authority relevancy
31:55
trust right like a RT that’s what Marko
31:57
always says and that’s honest to God’s
31:59
truth so again you can still manipulate
32:02
metrics and achieve some results but
32:04
it’s becoming less and less effective
32:06
and it will continue to become less
32:09
effective so to answer your question
32:11
Gordon I prefer having setting up in
32:15
branding branding new starting from
32:17
scratch so if you want to manipulate
32:19
metrics a bit and you can find a good
32:22
topic topically related or relevant site
32:25
is expired domain preferably from within
32:28
the same region location right
32:31
geographic region then absolutely just
32:33
301 redirect it if it’s not if it’s not
32:37
topically relevant or geographically
32:39
relevant or preferably both then you can
32:42
always redirect that that domain through
32:45
a buffer site and that’s still valid to
32:47
guys and a buffer site could even be
32:49
something as simple as an HTML one page
32:52
site hosted on Amazon s3 bucket in fact
32:54
and um I don’t remember if it was where
32:57
did I do the ad ID training was that
32:59
mastermind or was that in syndication
33:01
Academy
33:02
I think that was mastermind wasn’t it I
33:05
can’t remember I think that was the
33:06
mastermind newsletter
33:07
anyways ad ID page you gave you gave
33:10
that away in syndication Academy I’m I’m
33:13
still mad about that I don’t think that
33:15
was syndicated that was that that was
33:16
the the an idea and and and the
33:19
loop-de-loop
33:20
and all that stuff no out idea was
33:23
mastermind I was newsletter because the
33:26
syndication Academy thing was the Pearl
33:27
trees thing so yeah with with the
33:31
subwoofer and ID and all that it was all
33:34
included okay well anyways uh as far as
33:38
that you could use something like that
33:40
like do a 301 redirect to like an Amazon
33:43
page or something an ad ID page would be
33:45
a really good place to do that where you
33:47
could redirect the 301 domain to
33:49
something like that
33:50
okay okay number two if I’m using
33:54
expires domain for locally gen site is
33:55
it more effective to reconstruct the
33:57
original pages of the content from the
33:58
aged domain and then add the new geo and
34:00
it’s targeted pages you want to rank for
34:01
or just use the domain with the new
34:03
pages only well I mean there’s benefit
34:07
to recreating those old pages well you
34:09
could do some analysis to determine that
34:11
so for example if you if you did like an
34:13
analysis on the domain the age domain
34:16
and there were pages that had you know
34:18
particularly high amount or good quality
34:21
links pointing to it then it would it be
34:23
beneficial to either recreate those
34:25
pages or just redirect that URL which is
34:28
what you could do I typically don’t
34:30
rebuild those pages guys unless I’m
34:32
building like what we used to call PB
34:35
ends but when I was three building age
34:37
domains with the content from the that I
34:41
could pull back from the Wayback Machine
34:42
I would rebuild those specifically just
34:45
to point links to whatever my target
34:47
pages were or target sites were that
34:49
makes sense if I’m rebuilding on an aged
34:52
domain for a money site I would not
34:53
rebuild the old pages I would redirect
34:56
the URLs from those old pages to the
34:58
pages that I wanted on the new site but
35:01
I would not rebuild those old pages if
35:03
you did rebuild the old pages I would
35:04
set them to no index no index follow and
35:08
then you could still put a place a link
35:10
from within those old pages to where you
35:12
wanted or set a canonical tag that’s
35:14
something else you could do but I would
35:15
set those pages to no index if you’re
35:17
gonna rebuild those that’s your call
35:20
Gordon you could just get away with
35:21
redirects at that point if there was
35:24
particular there were pages on that aged
35:25
domain that we’re ranking really well
35:29
and all that then you know there’s some
35:30
benefit to do that to to recreate those
35:32
but I would still
35:33
we said on the no index because it
35:35
really wouldn’t make sense underneath
35:36
the new brand right so by the way guys
35:40
SEO juice passes through no index pages
35:43
– just so you know all right number
35:46
three if I buy an H inspired domain with
35:47
decently high da and trust phone numbers
35:49
to use for a local lead generation were
35:55
expired a domain a little bit older or
35:56
user for permanent 301 direct to the
35:57
first domain where the first domain
35:58
increases – yeah but again I mean you
36:01
can play with those metrics man but it’s
36:02
not that your time and money is spent is
36:06
better spent on on other things in my
36:09
opinion guys I mean we stopped a whole
36:11
da trust flow manipulation stuff well
36:14
over a year ago if not closer to two
36:16
years ago so yeah you can manipulate
36:20
metrics by redirecting and stuff like
36:22
that trust flow a little bit more
36:24
tougher – a little bit harder to
36:26
manipulate then domain Authority domain
36:28
Authority is easy to manipulate
36:29
alright that’s super simple set up a sub
36:32
domain on a domain and just spam the
36:35
mess out of it with gsa you can pump da
36:37
that way right I mean there’s a ton of
36:39
things you can do to pump da but it’s
36:41
not that powerful it’s not that
36:42
beneficial to do so anymore it was four
36:45
years ago five four and five years ago
36:48
that’s what we used to do and it worked
36:49
like crazy not so much anymore okay good
36:56
question so perform Peter from Poland
36:58
perform in building out a contents
37:01
eyelid for realtors I see many agents
37:03
have a blog and and separate pages for
37:04
communities with MLS idx feed okay when
37:08
I run SEM rush they’re not ranking for
37:10
any real estate-related organic keywords
37:12
just ranking for the blog keywords which
37:14
have nothing to do with real estate
37:15
what’s the best way to build out these
37:16
content silos their visual sitemap is a
37:18
cluster F okay I don’t know because I
37:24
don’t know anything the realtor stuff I
37:26
just found them to being credit to work
37:28
with so I just stopped working with
37:30
Realtors several years ago I really
37:33
couldn’t give you a strong answer on
37:35
that I know we have some people on our
37:36
mastermind to deal with exclusively in
37:39
the real estate industry that could
37:41
probably help you with that Peter but
37:42
that’s not gonna help you here I
37:44
apologize for that anybody have an
37:45
answer for him
37:49
hmm and trend to think the reality is
37:54
that I would treat it as a regular like
37:59
it’s a regular um a regular what’s that
38:02
right because he’s he’s saying that
38:05
she’s shrunken for blood keywords which
38:07
have nothing to do with real estate I
38:09
would start over there actually I had
38:11
one client that had at it say that exact
38:13
same problem he was ranked him for all
38:15
of the wrong to you so I would start
38:17
over there trying to push more content
38:19
for related keywords money buying ten
38:22
keywords with content I’m probably you
38:25
know syndication and because that would
38:28
be them that would be the main point I
38:30
would I would wonder like I’m wondering
38:31
what they’re ranking for it’s not for
38:33
real estate you know you need to work on
38:36
the topic of the website a little bit
38:38
because the topic is definitely not
38:40
their stomach tense yeah I totally agree
38:43
with her non and again the caveat that I
38:45
haven’t worked in this niche I’m not
38:46
sure but I would just look at the
38:48
content you say that ranking for the
38:49
wrong stuff but what is the content
38:51
should they be ranking or not like go
38:53
that way and then like her non set of
38:54
you know they need content either update
38:57
or create new content that’s gonna
38:58
target the actual keywords yeah there’s
39:02
I know there’s some things that you can
39:03
do to build relevancy if you’re going to
39:05
use a complex silo structure but it can
39:08
be again as the title implies it can
39:11
become incredibly complex to do so but
39:14
for example and I know I think it was
39:18
Muhammad in the mastermind was asking a
39:21
question similar to that about using you
39:25
know like for example a particular area
39:27
right like maybe a town that has some
39:32
big housing developments that are
39:34
well-known right so like they’re almost
39:36
like their own municipality they’re not
39:38
they’re not they don’t have their own
39:39
government but to just big neighborhoods
39:41
right and so in their like you could you
39:44
could literally like set up a silo for
39:45
like the county right and then set up us
39:48
the the sub the sub category child page
39:52
plus sub category as like that area
39:55
right that that that housing development
39:58
and then from there you could have any
40:00
post like doing articles about or blog
40:04
posts about the the various builders and
40:06
the amenities and things like that and
40:08
in your case since you’ve got MLS or idx
40:10
feed in there which will pull in
40:11
listings I don’t know how good you can
40:13
get with filtering like what it pulls in
40:15
but that way you could literally have
40:17
only houses within that specific
40:20
development in that particular silo if
40:22
that makes sense and you could add
40:24
subcategories for each one of those
40:26
types of neighborhoods within that
40:27
County now again that can become very
40:30
complex that could be a lot of content a
40:32
lot of pages guys a lot of categories
40:35
and subcategories but a lot of
40:38
subcategories right so there’s a lot of
40:40
width to a silo there you guys
40:43
understand width and depth when it comes
40:45
to silos right so you could add a lot of
40:47
width to a silo this way but it would
40:50
actually it’s logical right it would
40:52
start to build up the overall presence
40:55
into that County for example or city you
40:57
could even do it at a city level my
40:58
point is there’s stuff that you could do
41:00
there but again I don’t know since I
41:02
don’t mess with the MLS anymore I don’t
41:04
know how good you could get about
41:05
filtering to where it’s only adding data
41:08
specific to certain like neighborhoods
41:10
and that kind of stuff but what I like
41:12
about that possibility at least is the
41:15
fact that that’s dynamically created
41:17
content so your pages get updated
41:19
regularly with new listings so again if
41:22
there’s a way that you can structure
41:23
silos very segregated or
41:26
compartmentalized like that then there
41:28
are some pretty ninja things you could
41:30
do but again the site could become
41:31
rather complex that way
41:33
and that becomes a real pain in the butt
41:35
to build those kind of sites out guys is
41:37
that’s why I always recommend sticking
41:38
with the simple silo structure at all
41:40
you know as much as possible okay
41:43
because again you end up spending a lot
41:45
of time just trying to map out these
41:47
sites and trying to figure out how a lot
41:48
of crazy things happen when you use the
41:50
complex silo structure as far as like
41:52
especially if you’re trying to use
41:54
physical silo which is michaux zit in
41:56
the permalink if you’re gonna be doing
41:57
complex solid structure with something
41:58
like that I recommend sticking with the
41:59
virtual silo where you’re just using the
42:01
post name permalink structure right
42:04
because you end up getting like some
42:06
real funky stuff going on with the URLs
42:08
when you do that so anyway it’s good
42:11
question no calhoune marketing group
42:12
what’s up buddy he says good afternoon
42:14
I will be yeah it’s Marie every time I
42:17
see your name did I have trouble
42:19
remembering but he’s rejoining the
42:21
mastermind tomorrow that’s awesome
42:24
very good and this is today actually he
42:26
should have rejoined so he emailed me
42:28
about it Nigel what’s up buddy he’s here
42:31
every week now to super-helpful Q&A;
42:32
thank you can you on outline minimum
42:35
effective wordpress site set up with RSS
42:37
for ifttt can you outline minimum
42:41
effective wordpress site set up with RSS
42:44
for ifttt yeah install wordpress delete
42:49
the hello world post add a valid real
42:52
post add RSS feed to IFTTT publish more
42:57
posts it’s that simple like I don’t know
42:59
what else to say Nigel I’m not trying to
43:01
be an jerk I just don’t know what
43:02
else to say about that
43:03
no everything else is in syndication
43:06
Academy yeah yeah can you recommend a
43:11
fibre gig type or is it just easy enough
43:13
for a quick do-it-yourself I’m not sure
43:16
what you mean for that there are some
43:19
RSS submission gigs and I have excuse me
43:23
in a fiber that work really well that
43:26
you can like go just do RSS sub me I
43:28
don’t know if that’s what you’re asking
43:29
Nigel but that’s how I’m interpreting it
43:32
you can go to Fiverr and type in RSS
43:33
submission and you’ll see a bunch of
43:35
providers just find somebody that
43:37
typically has something like you know
43:38
submit to 70 RSS data directories and
43:41
aggregators all those people are doing
43:44
are using a tool like RSS submit 5 which
43:48
is great let them do that because that’s
43:50
a pain-in-the-butt tool to use it
43:51
automates semi-automated but you still
43:53
have to like do the captions and stuff
43:55
it’s a real pain in the butt I don’t
43:56
recommend doing it just hire it on
43:58
Fiverr I’ve got a VA that does it for me
44:00
in fact he hasn’t done it for me in like
44:01
a year and a half but I just contacted
44:03
him this week to start doing it again
44:05
and he’s gonna do it for a project I’m
44:08
working on with somebody else so you
44:11
know that’s something that you can do on
44:12
your own but I highly recommended you
44:13
just pay somebody five bucks to do it
44:15
over at fiber cuz it’s stupid it takes
44:17
like you know a good 30 minutes to sit
44:19
there and figure out CAPTCHAs I don’t
44:21
know that that’s what you’re asking but
44:22
you try it anyways it’s Google site with
44:27
IFTTT avaiable
44:28
for syndication I don’t think so there’s
44:30
no RSS feed is there you know we do
44:34
actually produce an RSS feed that gets
44:38
that goes through feed burner but that’s
44:41
the whole process it’s created by the
44:43
script okay so but but I’m saying a
44:46
native Google site yes does not have an
44:49
RSS feed does yes yes it actually does
44:51
Oh does it okay the announcement pages
44:54
will give you an RSS feed okay cool
45:00
well there you go Nigel I didn’t know
45:01
that money starter used it as a
45:04
canonical you can’t use a Google site as
45:06
a canonical unless unless you map your
45:10
own domain to the to the Google site in
45:13
which case the Google site will still
45:14
remain indexed but and it will still
45:17
resolve to the Google site like you can
45:20
go to your custom domain and it will
45:23
show in the address bar when you go the
45:24
Google site it will still show your
45:26
domain but you can also visit the Google
45:28
site URL which will show and if you do a
45:32
view page source you’ll see the
45:33
canonical tag which points to your
45:35
domain that makes sense okay but other
45:40
than that the only way you can do a
45:41
canonical from a Google site is if you
45:43
map a domain so it’s custom domain
45:45
mapping and that’s its kind of funky
45:48
setting that up to guys it’s a it’s I
45:50
don’t know it’s weird yeah I always
45:52
struggle doing that when I do it and the
45:54
project I was just talking about with
45:56
somebody else that I’m working on that
45:59
we’re gonna be reinstating the advanced
46:01
RSS submission stuff he he had a hell of
46:06
a time getting the domain mapped over
46:07
from a Google site so anyways it’s not
46:10
just me apparently it’s just a pain in
46:11
the butt so just keep that in mind there
46:13
are help files online that will show you
46:15
how to do it but it’s it’s just it’s
46:16
weird so good luck with that okay so I
46:21
think you’re right Marko at the add ID
46:23
stuff I did talk about in IFTTT so
46:27
anymore syndication counter he Bradley
46:29
on webinar promoting search space with
46:30
Chris you guys mentioned using the add
46:31
ID and schema to point to a subdomain of
46:33
a local biz site to the permanent home
46:35
of the schema and other entity
46:37
validating elements I’m testing that out
46:39
now but I have a question if previous
46:41
link building project send
46:42
old schema with a different out ID or L
46:45
with a new one with the subdomain ad ID
46:47
or I’ll create more problems that can
46:48
outweigh the benefits
46:49
it shouldn’t J well first of all are you
46:52
able to go in and edit the leg or set up
46:56
a redirect from the old URL that you had
46:58
is the ad ID to the new one if you can
47:00
do that that would be the easiest fix if
47:02
you cannot do that then the only option
47:06
on the other option that I know of would
47:08
be to go manually edit but if you say
47:10
that it’s been syndicated out then
47:12
chances are that’s gonna be you know not
47:14
possible it’s not a viable option so I
47:17
wouldn’t worry about it too much what I
47:19
think is the most important and again I
47:21
don’t know I don’t have any data to
47:22
validate this this is just my assumption
47:24
right this is speculation but the most
47:27
important places for the ad ID is on the
47:29
money site itself right so the schema on
47:32
the money site itself which points over
47:35
to the ad ID to validate the entity
47:37
right that that’s where it’s the most
47:39
important in my again in my opinion I
47:41
haven’t tested that but that’s because
47:43
that’s it’s that the the bot comes and
47:46
reads that page right the money site and
47:49
it sees the ad ID too and it goes
47:51
invalid it references that URI to
47:55
validate the data that it sees on the
47:57
money sites that make sense so all those
48:00
other pages that underst it might be
48:01
pointing to an ad ID but those aren’t
48:03
the actual entity properties they’re
48:05
just you know ancillary or a third party
48:07
like inbound links that type of stuff if
48:09
you’re talking about syndicating that’s
48:10
all i can assume so again if you can set
48:13
up a redirect that’s great to point the
48:15
old to the new ad ID if you can’t do
48:18
that or if that’s not possible then I
48:20
would just make sure that all on the
48:22
entity properties themselves that it’s
48:24
been manually edited to the correct ad
48:26
ID marco do you have any comments on
48:31
that that’s not something I’ve tested so
48:34
I don’t I don’t know no no I I haven’t
48:36
tested but I don’t see why he should
48:37
have any issues yeah okay that’s the
48:43
only thing sorry because all he’s going
48:46
to changes the ad ID URL that’s already
48:49
on the website right right and it’s
48:53
going to point somewhere else but where
48:54
everything lives
48:55
so I think that’s perfectly fine yeah
48:58
that’s the right thing
49:00
Patrick says does rys method work for
49:03
Realtors and their listings as far as I
49:04
know it works for everything comments
49:06
yeah what I found with realtors is that
49:10
there’s usually an entity issue because
49:15
they share office space with other
49:18
entities and so that so I feel we did it
49:23
in in we tried it in Toronto and it was
49:27
very well the competition in Toronto is
49:29
ridiculous anyway I tried it in another
49:32
real realtor and entity I mean the
49:36
entity was a complete mess because the
49:38
office was actually shared by three
49:41
entities so which one is the entity for
49:44
that address now if the entity is clear
49:49
for whatever Realtors it is that you’re
49:51
working for meaning that they have a
49:53
verified GMB and they’re the sole
49:56
company at that address that they don’t
49:59
share offers office space with other
50:01
people who claim the address and the
50:04
phone number than any other any two of
50:06
the three points right of the NA P which
50:10
will cause massive issues if that’s the
50:12
case so if that’s not the case and and
50:16
you do the GMB training correctly and
50:19
and you develop the entity the way that
50:22
you’re supposed to according to the ro
50:24
is black book and some other stuff that
50:27
I’ve been testing that I will be
50:29
releasing as a matter of fact I’m
50:31
waiting for one guy to let me know if
50:33
we’re going to work on a real estate
50:36
project so that I can test it on real
50:38
estate that is working and everything
50:39
else so I don’t see why cleaning up the
50:43
entity and and working from the entity
50:45
won’t work for a realtor also that’s you
50:52
know the only thing that I’ve seen with
50:54
Realtors is is that and with a few
50:56
others as a matter of fact is that
50:58
entity issues when you’re ambiguous
51:00
whether your entity Google doesn’t know
51:02
who’s who at the address and then you
51:06
got a problem
51:08
yeah yeah and Patrick just keep in mind
51:12
the ry s method yes it will work for
51:15
realtors other than what you know the
51:17
the stuff that Marco just mentioned but
51:19
keep in mind it in part part of the
51:22
reason I also besides Realtors I just
51:24
found to be incredibly difficult to work
51:26
with you’re dealing with very high
51:30
authority websites in the real estate
51:32
industry that are incredibly aged like
51:35
you know long and Foster and century 21
51:38
and Remax and Zillow and Redfin and like
51:41
all these different types of real real
51:44
estate types websites it’s it’s it’s a
51:46
difficult for SEO it’s a difficult
51:48
industry to get into because you have I
51:51
mean there’s just so much massive
51:53
authority accumulated on those sites
51:54
that it’s it’s it’s hard to break into
51:56
the top ten man so again it’s that
51:59
there’s there’s a couple things that
52:00
that you know again one I found Realtors
52:03
incredibly painful to work with and then
52:05
the other number two it’s a difficult
52:07
industry to be doing SEO in I found like
52:11
other traffic methods are probably
52:13
better than just SEO like that’s a
52:15
long-term approach but if you got to get
52:17
results right away
52:17
I found paid traffic to be a hell of a
52:20
lot more effective than SEO okay
52:25
Jonathan says any recommendations were
52:27
to purchase aged YouTube accounts for
52:28
Pilton keywords yeah look I’m gonna
52:31
point this out this is a provider that
52:33
we’ve used and he just messaged me and
52:35
Skyped the other day to tell me he’s got
52:37
more accounts available and everything
52:38
guys keep in mind like this is one of
52:41
the providers that I do endorse to
52:43
recommend I don’t get any affiliate
52:45
Commission off of this guy’s his name is
52:46
a Noir he’s a good guy I know that want
52:49
you know some of our members that do a
52:50
lot of high-volume stuff where they need
52:53
hundreds of accounts then a lot of times
52:56
issues can arise with creating that many
52:59
now if you’re if you’re I’ve all I don’t
53:02
typically do like a ton of volume stuff
53:04
so usually I buy like a hundred YouTube
53:06
accounts at a time and then you know I
53:09
end up only using about 40 or 50 of them
53:11
anyways and so like I’ve never really
53:14
experienced any problems I’m not I’m not
53:17
gonna say never
53:17
I rarely experience problems with with
53:20
the accounts however like I said some of
53:21
the hive
53:22
volume users have had issues so just
53:24
keep that in mind but I’m gonna drop
53:25
this link on the page guys you can reach
53:28
out to him and see what he has we also
53:29
have another provider if you’d like I’ll
53:31
uh as a matter of fact I’m gonna do it
53:34
just to be fair I’m gonna put his on
53:35
there as well
53:36
this guy see and this guy I can’t
53:44
remember his name off the top my head
53:45
but uh he goes by Metro biz and and he’s
53:49
got some good accounts too so I’m gonna
53:50
put both of these here guys and reach
53:52
out to them and chat with them via Skype
53:55
or whatever and find out which ones a
53:56
better fit for you and and buy them from
53:59
there if you’d like again I endorsed
54:01
them but I’m not associated with them
54:02
that makes sense okay D card says hey
54:06
guy I wasn’t thinking about creating
54:07
three Len Legion sites which will be
54:08
targeting three different niches they
54:10
will be built on subdomains do I need to
54:12
create separate IFTTT network and roi
54:14
yes if there are three different niches
54:16
yes you know your ending to keep all
54:18
that separate it wouldn’t make sense to
54:20
co-mingle content from one niche to
54:22
another on the same site unless it was a
54:25
very broad blog and everything was
54:27
siloed really properly and again that’s
54:29
just too much of a headache I would not
54:31
recommend that separate that stuff you
54:33
build theme relevancy a lot quicker that
54:37
way okay
54:38
Ryan I know you guys discuss SEO mostly
54:41
but I have a marketing question I am
54:43
creating a video marketing course and
54:44
membership site where YouTube will be a
54:45
number number one place I will have
54:48
content should I create my product
54:50
products first and then start creating
54:52
YouTube content or YouTube content or
54:55
get the ball rolling with YouTube
54:56
content as I work on my products Thanks
54:57
that’s a chicken or the egg scenario I
55:00
don’t think it really matters I really
55:03
don’t think that matters at all in fact
55:05
I would personally my own methodology
55:09
like my own process for this kind of
55:11
stuff is to get the product stuff in
55:13
place first and then create the videos
55:15
because that the video stuff requires a
55:17
lot of time in editing you know I still
55:20
do a lot of my editing myself Hernando’s
55:22
– we were just complaining about that
55:23
the other day and the problem is if you
55:26
do your videos while you’re working on
55:28
product development if something changes
55:30
in the products you have to go back and
55:31
redo the videos and so I like to have
55:34
the product stuff done first before I
55:36
MIT to recording and editing videos
55:38
that’s my opinion anybody else have
55:40
anything different um no I did the exact
55:46
same thing I’m actually trying to pay
55:47
but out from editing myself just because
55:50
of the fact that I’m kind of training a
55:53
VA to get all of the editing done so
55:55
whenever I —- up I just you know with
55:57
the UM Sundays and whatever or I just
56:00
clap when they need to cut and paste you
56:03
know that’s a little bit more effective
56:06
but yeah the process is the same right
56:10
so there you go alright we’re almost out
56:13
of time we’re trying to get through just
56:14
a couple more guys I’m sorry we had a
56:15
lot of questions today Wow it’s crazy
56:20
a lot of questions today alright our
56:22
mind is up hey would you structure an
56:24
agency site with two how would you
56:26
structure an agency site with two
56:27
locations would you create a general
56:29
service page for example agency slash
56:30
SEO then on that page having locations
56:32
linked from that agency comm slash SEO
56:35
city one agency com SEO city – yeah you
56:38
can do that Arman in fact that’s the we
56:41
did a hump day hangouts very recently
56:43
with Jeffrey Smith and tawny Camaro was
56:45
that last week guys or was it two weeks
56:47
ago I think that was two or maybe three
56:49
now yeah three weeks ago okay if
56:53
somebody could if one of you guys don’t
56:55
mind jumping in the YouTube channel grab
56:57
the full replay of that and just the URL
56:59
for that drop it on the page and tag
57:01
Ryan on it or excuse me Armand on it
57:04
Armand we had a webinar Humpty hang out
57:07
with Jeffrey Smith and tawny Camaro
57:08
Jeffrey Smith of SEO bootcamp fantastic
57:11
on-page course the best I’ve ever seen
57:13
if you’re if you’re thinking about
57:15
especially if you’re an agency man if
57:17
you don’t have SEO bootcamp get it
57:20
because if you’re an agency this is
57:21
incredibly valuable information for you
57:24
as an SEO agency guy you should know
57:26
this stuff and so I highly recommend you
57:29
pick it up man it is hands down the best
57:31
on-page course that said we talked very
57:34
specifically about just what you’re
57:36
asking on that webinar the hump day
57:38
hangouts webinar we talked about how to
57:40
structure silos now as the the better
57:42
more effective way that’s not so spammy
57:45
as duplicating pages on your site for
57:47
every city and it works it works real
57:49
well it’s it’s um it’s a way to set up
57:52
sir like you set up two different types
57:53
of silos right you set up your service
57:55
or product silos product or service
57:58
silos and then you set up your location
58:00
silos and it’s it’s actually cross
58:03
linking between silos which you
58:04
typically don’t do between like things
58:07
like keyword themes you don’t want to
58:09
cross link between silos but this is
58:12
different because this is a location
58:13
silo that cross links to a service
58:16
product or service silo so it’s a little
58:19
bit different and Google will make the
58:21
associations between those pages and
58:22
again we covered that on the hump day
58:24
hangout so ever on a on a conceptual
58:26
level if you want the actual like nitty
58:28
gritty you need to get into that course
58:30
SEO bootcamp which will show you how to
58:32
do that kind of stuff okay
58:34
all right last one Walt I can’t pass you
58:37
up well just because you uh you’re in
58:39
the master mind and you send me emails a
58:41
lot can we have more than our Google
58:43
Analytics account more more than I guess
58:46
at one Google Analytics account
58:47
monitoring a given website in other
58:50
words can we put the verification HTML
58:51
code from to Google accounts in the
58:53
header or tracked analytics I just had a
58:56
crazy thought was wondering you know I
58:59
think you can but I don’t know if it
59:01
skews data does anybody have an answer
59:03
for that a definitive answer I’ve never
59:06
tried it I’ve never tried it either I
59:07
think yeah I think you can but I’m
59:11
afraid that it would skew data that
59:14
would be an interesting test well you
59:18
could try it and see I mean you could
59:19
literally plop put two separate
59:21
analytics accounts you know the
59:23
universal analytics code if you’re using
59:24
tag manager just you know the UA ID or
59:27
whatever and and in you know go to the
59:31
real the real time stats tab in both
59:35
accounts and send you know go visit it
59:37
send traffic through a proxy or
59:39
something so you can see the IP and see
59:41
if it’s tracking real-time results for
59:42
both I don’t know if it will or not you
59:44
that’s how I would test it okay baby and
59:48
sorry buddy ran out of time man love to
59:51
answer your question but we’re gonna
59:52
have to answer it later
59:54
looks like we got to most of them all
59:57
right and durmond if you’re watching the
59:58
link is on the page so check that out
60:00
and then
60:02
we’ll put the link to SQL bootcamp on
60:05
the page too so definitely check that
60:06
out yeah
60:08
awesome guys alright thanks for
60:10
everybody being here
60:11
we’ll see anybody that’s local PR Pro
60:14

60:17
the webinar tomorrow so make sure you’re
60:18
there it’ll be a good one bring your
60:20
questions we’ll see you all tomorrow
60:22
thanks guys one
